Fishing from a belly-boat — or float-tube by another name — is the ultimate experience, where you become one with the water. It’s almost as intimate as snuggling up with your lover. On top of that, you have a chance to land a gigantic perch or pike!

We like to use light gear and soft plastic jigging for perch and medium to medium-heavy gear for pike. And believe us, every cast has a chance for a trophy fish that will be the subject of the tales you tell your children. Pike is one of our favourite fish to catch from fresh water. They are incredible killing machines, and when the big ones fight on the end of your gear, it’s an experience that will leave a mark on you. What are you into? Shallow lake topwater blowups with frog lures 🐸, or deep lake jigging with a sonar? If you ask us, you have to try both!
Ultra-light perch fishing from a belly boat is as good as it gets! In Denmark, you have a good chance of catching a 40+ Monster if you are at the right place at the right time. And if you hook into one of the big ones, be prepared that they are crazy strong and will make you sweat with their crazy headshakes. 💦
